(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese leaders on Tuesday laid wreaths and offered incense at the Heroic Martyrs’ Monument and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum on the occasion of the 74th Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27).

The leaders expressed their profound gratitude to heroic martyrs who gave their lives to the struggle for national liberation and reunification and for the national independence and freedom and the well-being of the people.
Delegations from the Defense Ministry’s Central Military Commission, the Ministry of Public Security’s Central Public Security Party Committee, the VFF Central Committee, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, and Hanoi’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and VFF Committee also paid floral tributes to heroic martyrs at the monument and to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum.
