President Duterte met with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in the Peruvian capital of Lima.  Duterte also spoke highly of his successful visit to China last month, saying it produced rich results. Duterte also extended gratitude for China's assistance to his country's development, pledging to enhance cooperation with China in various fields including infrastructure construction.
