(VOVworld) – A photo exhibition to welcome the National Assembly and People’s Council elections for the 2016-2021 term opened in Can Tho city on Tuesday. The more than 120 photos on display feature National Assembly and People’s Council elections through different periods of time and the development achievements of Vietnam and Can Tho since 1945. The exhibition is intended to increase people’s awareness of the role and importance of the National Assembly and People’s Councils and encourage them to vote in the upcoming elections.
