Planting of new Vietnam-Cambodia border markers started

(VOVworld) – Vietnamese and Cambodian border soldiers have begun planting the 41st and 43rd border markers in Ea H’leo and Yok Mbre district in Dak Lak province.

The border demarcation and marker planting teams of both countries have verified the marker positions under the administration of the Cambodia-Vietnam Joint Border Committee.

Colonel Pham Quang Hung, commander of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard, said: “Dak Lak province and Cambodia’s Mundulkiri province will finish border demarcation and marker planting by June this year. Both countries will cooperate in managing and protecting the markers to guarantee a peaceful and friendly border.”
