Relations between Vietnam and the Netherlands have grown strongly in various fields, especially investment, trade, agriculture and climate change response.

The Netherlands is Vietnam’s second biggest trade partner in Europe and its biggest investor in the European Union. Two-way trade in the first 9 months of this year  amounted to 8.2 billion USD, up 36% year on year.

The Netherlands has invested 13.5 billion USD in 380 projects in Vietnam and has donated 1 million COVID-19 vaccine doses to the country.
