PM chairs Government meeting on law-making for July

(VOVWORLD) -The Government’s law-making session for July on Wednesday discussed a proposal on global minimum tax application and the National Assembly’s draft resolution on piloting mechanisms and policies to remove obstacles specified in a number of laws related to investment in road construction projects.

In his opening address, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly and the Government have issued many resolutions to remove obstacles facing national development, contributing to improving the legal system.

However, he stressed the need to address the remaining limitations and inadequacies of the legal system to free up resources and promote development.

The PM requested grater time, effort and resources to ensure the process, progress and quality of law making.
