PM urges to speed up Hoa Lac high-tech park
(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has called for faster construction of the Hoa Lac high-tech park.
During a working session in Hanoi’s suburban district of Thach That on Monday, PM Dung urged the park's management board to promptly submit the park’s master plan adjustment for official approval to speed up the progress. He also asked the management board to work actively with investors to accelerate and complete site clearance this year. Established in 1998 on an area of 1,586 hectares, the Hoa Lac high-tech park has completed site clearance on 845ha and granted licences to 61 projects with a combined capital of 31 trillion VND (1.47 billion USD), covering 217.56 ha. Of the projects, 29 with a total registered capital of 15.2 trillion VND are implemented, creating jobs for more than 4,000 workers. About 50 other projects with a total capital of 44 trillion VND are awaiting licences.
