PM’s visit shapes new direction for Vietnam-Czech cooperation

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s recent official visit to the Czech Republic has ushered in a new orientation in boosting future cooperation between the two countries and creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese people in the Czech Republic, according to Chairman of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSCM) Vojtech Filip.

Mr. Filip, who is also Vice Speaker of the Czech Republic’s Lower House, told the Vietnam News Agency that the visit was a success and that he supports efforts to remove barriers in labor cooperation between the two countries. He spoke highly of the important role of the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic in promoting the relationship between the two countries, adding that he’ll continue helping them better integrate into the local society. Mr. Filip is expected to visit Vietnam this June.
