Researchers, economists, and representatives of 300 enterprises on Thursday attended the Vietnam Business Forum 2018 titled “Adapting to the Changing Economy”, held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Despite the upbeat mood, participants warned of some challenges ahead. Nguyen Manh Quan, Director of the Institute of Business Study and Development, said: “Vietnamese enterprises are facing difficulties, particularly in approaching the global economy. Enterprises have failed to make full use of incentive programs offered by the government.”

The participants urged businesses to improve technology, governance, and quality to survive global competition.
