In an article entitled “Social media to political and social stability in Vietnam”, Vo Van Thuong, Politburo member and head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education, said each cadre, party member, and member of social network must keep their role as a core force in posting, sharing, and spreading positive information and consider it a regular and long-term solution. Mr. Thuong said Vietnam, a country that has political and social stability and maintained its growth momentum, is facing potential risk of instability.

Creating a healthy and safe information environment, in which social media is an important source of information, will make an active and effective contribution to protecting political and social stability, a firm foundation for national sustainable development.
