President applauds navy forces’ resolve

President Truong Tan Sang paid Tet visit to the court, procuracy sector and the anti-crime police force on Friday. He praised the court sector for its progress and asked it to prepare a professional pool of judges to ensure fair trial. He wanted the porocuracy sector to promote international cooperation to learn from best practices of the world. The President was speaking at his meeting with anti-crime police force:“I believe that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the fine tradition of the people and the police force, we will accomplish our missions and steer the country’s development in line with Party resolutions so that Vietnam will become a basic industrialized country by 2020”.

President Truong Tan Sang applauded the navy forces’ resolve in national defence and maintaining a peaceful environment during his Tet visit to the Navy High Command, the Military Zone No 3, Party and people in the northern port city of Hai Phong on Friday.

He called on the forces to increase training, boost external affairs in national defence and raise their responsibility in protecting the country’s sovereignty over its sea and islands. He reiterated the strategic importance of the Military Zone No 3 in the northern coastal region and asked for their readiness to cooperate with various forces to protect the national sovereignty.

During his meeting with Hai Phong city’s leaders, Mr Sang praised the city’s socio-economic development and urged Hai Phong to become a modern hub port city while successfully implementing the Party resolution.
