President applauds Vietnam-Cambodia border delineation efforts

(VOVWORLD) -President Tran Dai Quang has applauded efforts by Vietnamese and Cambodian relevant agencies for accomplishing a large volume of work on border delineation between the two countries.

At a reception for Cambodian Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn in Hanoi on Thursday, President Quang called on both sides to complete the border marker planting and work closely with each other to ensure a borderline of peace and stability.  He called on Cambodia to provide practical assistance to Vietnamese expats there so that they can contribute to Cambodian development and bilateral ties. President Quang also asked the Minister to convey his greetings to Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, saying he hopes to welcome the King to Vietnam later this year.

The Cambodian Minister congratulated Vietnam for its socio-economic achievements and expressed his belief that Vietnam will achieve its goals of industrialization and modernization by 2030.
