President Thuong told the Association’s National Congress in Hanoi on Tuesday that the movement “Student with 5 Merits” has contributed to improving the quality of education, providing better care and support for students, and addressing social issues, especially for those experiencing difficulty.

He called on Vietnamese students to work alongside the entire nation to realize the aspiration of making Vietnam a developed, high-income country by 2045.

“The Association should focus on encouraging students to improve their morality, creativity, and social responsibility, develop a civilized lifestyle, and adapt to the digital era,” he said.
President Thuong also asked the Vietnam Students’ Association to develop its branches abroad.
