(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang received former acting President of Japan’s Democratic Party Sengoku Yoshito on Tuesday.

He expressed the hope for Japan’s continued expansion of its agricultural projects in Vietnamese localities following the famous agricultural model of Ibraki prefecture. He said that Vietnam would review its policies to create a favorable cooperation environment. President Truong Tan Sang and the former acting President of Japan’s Democratic Party agreed on the need for quality human resources to boost national development. The Vietnamese president said he believed the establishment of a Vietnam-Japan University in Hanoi and close educational cooperation between the two countries would offer new cooperation opportunities and improve mutual understanding between the two peoples.
