(VOVworld) – President Tran Dai Quang received Michaelle Jean, Secretary General of the Francophonie, an organization of the French speaking states, in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Mr. Quang said he hopes the French community will boost economic cooperation among members, in addition to promoting language and cultural diversity, pledging Vietnam’s contributions to the efforts. He told his guest that Vietnam will continue to reform its economy and growth model and increase investment in infrastructure and human resources training to achieve sustainable development goals. The President said as a responsible member of the international community, Vietnam will continue to send forces to the UN peace keeping missions and that Vietnam wants help from the Francophonie and each member in this area.
