President Quang praised the contributions that the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Yu Zhengsheng himself have made to the relations between the two Parties and countries.He expressed his hope that the two sides will push for the popularisation of the common perception reached by senior leaders among the two countries’ agencies and administrations at all levels, so that the perception will be realised through specific actions, creating strong changes in bilateral cooperative ties across the fields.

 Yu said the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference wants to bolster exchanges and cooperation with the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The two sides should increase the exchange of experiences in reform and national construction, contributing to consolidating their social foundation and boosting the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, he said.

On Friday,  President Quang met Zhang Dejiang, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, in Beijing.

The President proposed senior Party and State leaders maintain regular visits and meetings while directing sectors and administrations at all levels to strictly implement bilateral agreements and cooperation programmes, and actively expand win-win cooperation suitable with development strategies of each nation.

Ealier, President Tran Dai Quang received Liu Yunshan, member of the Politburo Standing Committee and Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee’s Secretariat.

President Quang suggested the two nations uphold the role of cooperation mechanisms, especially meetings of Politburo members and the Steering Committee for Vietnam-China Bilateral Cooperation, and theoretical seminars between the two Parties.

These meetings and seminars aim to enhance the direction of sectors and administrations at all levels to implement effectively common perceptions reached by the two countries’ Party and State leaders, boost balanced development of sustainable economic-trade relations and increase people-to-people exchanges, he elaborated.
The President also recommended the two sides to step up communication and education about the traditional friendship between their people and well control disagreements to maintain peace and stability at sea.
Liu highly evaluated the President’s proposals and agreed to increase exchanges and experience sharing between the two Parties.
