(VOVworld)- On Monday, the Government Inspectorate held a meeting to mark its 70
th anniversary and the 4
th Emulation Congress.

In his address, President Truong Tan Sang asked inspectors to be fully aware of Vietnam’s situation and help the Party and State in building and fine-tuning legislation for inspections, complaints and denunciations. President Sang said:“The fight against corruption is of great importance but very complicated requiring inspectors to have a firm political stance and be more resolute. The Inspection sector needs to be firmer in preventative measures and use different channels and ways to strengthen the fight against corruption”.
President Sang stressed the need to improve the quality of inspection, strengthen state management in citizen reception and settlement of complaints and denunciations in order to ensure political stability, order and social security. On behalf of the Party and State, President Sang presented the Inspection Sector with Independence Order, first class.
