Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung successfully concludes his trip to WEF on East Asia

(VOVworld)-Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung today/ on Friday arrived in Hanoi, successfully concluding his trip to the World Economic Forum on East Asia in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. In his address at the 2013 WEF on East Asia, PM Dung urged businesses to invest more in socio-economic projects for corporate, community and regional benefits. He said the Vietnamese government is willing to dialogue with the business community to ensure a favorable environment.

During the meeting with President Thein Sein, the two leaders expressed their pleasure at the development of bilateral traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation while agreeing to enhance delegation and people-to-people exchanges. They also pledged to boost economic, trade and investment cooperation.

PM Dung and President Thein Sein reached an agreement on expanding cooperation in other potential fields like mining, aviation and construction. Vietnam will assist Myanmar in developing agriculture and aquaticulture while Myanmar will facilitate the implementation of Vietnam’s investment projects in the country. At the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual concern and agreed to work closely at regional and international forums. Also during his stay in Myanmar, PM Dung received leaders of some large global corporations who were attending the forum.
