At a dialogue in Hanoi on Tuesday to mark 93 years of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, PM Chinh said young people should play a pioneer role in raising public awareness of digital matters, developing the country’s digital capabilities, providing advice on digital transformation and digitization policies, assisting in reforming administrative procedures through digitization, and promoting digital research, development, and innovation.

The Prime Minister and leaders of various ministries and sectors answered questions on various issues including data protection, cybersecurity, and employment amid the development of artificial intelligence (AI). Mr. Chinh suggested that young people enhance their IT and foreign languages skills.

He noted that the Government will adopt policies to diversify Vietnam’s labor market, step up digital transformation in rural areas, boost the application of digital transformation, and preserve and promote Vietnam’s national cultural identity.

The Prime Minister said that youths should develop their aspirations for contribution to the Homeland, for education, for the pursuit of a career, for integration and development, and for unity and advancement.
