Prime Minister receives Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc applauded the visit of Japanese local leaders to Vietnam to seek cooperation opportunities.

At a reception for Kuroiwa Yuji, Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture, in Hanoi on Friday, Mr. Phuc called on the region, where 14,000 Vietnamese live, to boost its labor cooperation and continue to receive Vietnamese workers. Praising the organization of the Vietnam Festival in Kanagawa, the Prime Minister urged the prefecture to set an example in tourism cooperation so that other localities will follow suit.

The guest said his delegation, which includes representatives from 17 businesses, held a workshop on tourism and investment promotion in Hanoi. He told the Prime Minister that during the visit, Kanagawa prefecture signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hanoi Medical University.
