(VOVworld) - Vietnam always encourages domestic businesses to invest in Cambodia, especially in rubber planting, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung stated while receiving Cambodia’s Minister of Planning Chhay Than in Hanoi on Tuesday. Dung asked the Cambodian government to promptly address the granting of land use right certificates to Vietnamese firms to ease their worries and facilitate their long-term operation in the country. The PM hailed effective collaboration between Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment and Cambodia’s Ministry of Planning, which has contributed to closer bilateral ties in finance, trade, investment, and tourism. Mr. Chhay briefed his host on the successful talks with Vietnamese Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh and the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation for 2015 between the two ministries. The MoU charts a course of action to connect their two economies, and that of Laos in line with the agreement signed by the three Prime Ministers during the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Summit in late 2014. Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung expressed support for these plans and called for their prompt implementation.
