(VOVworld) – A project to upgrade the Hanoi-Bac Giang section of national highway 1 started in Bac Giang province on Saturday.

The 210 million USD section has a total length of 46 km and is expected to be completed by June 2016. In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam asked bidders and relevant agencies to apply advanced technologies to ensure the project’s progress. He asked local authorities to work with relevant ministries and sectors in land clearance and residential resettlement to help local people quickly stabilize their lives.
