(VOVworld) – The southern province of Soc Trang launched an action month for children on Friday with the theme “Acting for a society without violence and abuse against children”. During this month, Soc Trang provincial authorities will enhance communications on childcare activities to help improve the people’s awareness on childcare, education, and protection to reduce cases of violence, abuses, and exploitation of children. The same day, provinces of Dak Nong, Long An, and Ninh Thuan also launched Action Month for Children, urging for more attention to protecting children, minimizing cases of child abuse and violence, while better implementing policies and social programs to ensure a safe and healthy environment for the children’s comprehensive development.
