(VOVworld)- Planning the personnel for the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and other key Party and State positions was high on the agenda of the just concluded 6^th plenum of the Party’s Central Committee. This issue has drawn a great deal of attention from the public. Nguyen Manh Tuong, who works at the Vietnam Mineral and Coal Group, described the debate on this issue as a breakthrough. "This is a breakthrough for the personnel work and should have been done during previous tenures. The Party Central Committee has already stated that personnel work is a decisive factor and will ensure the success of the Party and the regime", said Mr. Tuong.

Mr. Doan Xuan Thuy, a pensioner from Dong Da district in Hanoi said the Politburo and the Secretariat’s open and frank admission of their limitations in the personnel work and their determination to resolve common gripes creates trust amongst the public. "I’m very happy with the Party leader’s statement at the meeting and I agree with the guidelines issued by the Politburo and the Party’s Central Committee. I really hope that we will overcome these problems so the country can develop further", said Mr. Thuy.

The public agrees that the outcome of the 6 plenum of the Party Central Committee has enhanced the people’s trust in the Party leadership.
