Putin: Russia-Turkey relations back to normal

(VOVWORLD) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi Wednesday that relations between Russia and Turkey have been restored, following the constitutional referendum in Ankara.

Putin said he believes that gradual stabilization of Turkey’s internal political situation will improve relations with Russia. During a press conference following the meeting, the Russian President said the two countries agreed on the removal of restrictions and barriers hampering their trade and mutual investment. Putin said Turkey is an important and promising partner of Russia. The two leaders agreed that dialogue is the only solution to the Syrian crisis.
