(VOVworld)- Vice Director of the Center for Overseas Labor of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Luong Duc Long said that 2014 will be a promising year for Vietnam to send workers to the Republic of Korea. Long said that the Korea is proposing to sign a special labor agreement with Vietnam by the end of this year. Under this agreement, workers who passed a test in Korean and a skill test in 2011 will be reconsidered. Relevant agencies are reviewing workers’ profiles to see if they still want to work in the Republic of Korea and fine tuning the necessary procedures. The workers will have to pay a security deposit before leaving for work in the Republic of Korea.
