(VOVworld) - Changing trends of Vietnamese families during global integration was the main topic of a conference in Hanoi on Tuesday. 

The conference, hosted by the Institute for Family and Gender Studies of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, aimed to study changes of family benefits from 1986 to 2015, and the implementation of family policies during global integration with a vision to 2030. Scientists at the conference mentioned geography, ecological environment, climate, and other considerations that have motivated Vietnamese people to connect to each other and respect the community.
