(VOVworld) - The UK’s royal ship Daring concluded its 3-day friendly visit to Danang city on Saturday. British Ambassador to Vietnam Antony Stokes told reporters before the ship’s departing Tien Sa seaport that visit takes place when the Vietnam and the UK are celebrating the 40^th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties. Daring is one of the most modern high-tech ships of the UK Royal Navy. During their stay, both sides discussed regional issues and security challenges and sought ways to boost defense ties. The UK pledged to continue its training programs for Vietnamese Defense Ministry, including the teaching of English.  UK crew members took part in various cultural and sporting events as well as visit a number of orphanages.
