Russia dismisses accusations that Trump divulged secrets

(VOVWORLD) - There was no classified information in President Trump’s remarks last week about Islamic State terrorism threats, said Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov on Thursday.

Lavarov told a press conference in the Cyprus Republic that he and President Trump discussed a US ban on electronics for airlines passengers from 7 Middle Eastern countries that was prompted by a terrorism threat, recently reported by the press.

On Wednesday Russian President Vladimir Putin also asserted that the conversation between Trump and Lavrov did not contain any exposure of classified information.

Yuri Ushakov, an assitant to president Putin said Russia has a transcrip, but not a recording of the conversation.
