(VOVworld) - Russian specialists have finished the main phase of the search and rescue operation at the site of the crash of Russia’s Tu-154 aircraft in the Black Sea, a law enforcement source told RIA Novosti on Thursday.

The largest fragments of the Russian Defense Ministry aircraft have been recovered and the decoding of all three recovered black boxes will be completed on Friday. On Sunday morning, the Russian plane heading from Moscow to Syria crashed shortly after refueling and take-off from Adler, a Russian city near Sochi.

All 92 people on board were killed.
