(VOVWORLD) - Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Thursday that President Putin may attend the Russia-Iran-Turkey summit scheduled for early September in Iran to discuss Syria’s future.

Mr. Peskov told reporters that preparations are underway and the meeting’s agenda will be announced once it is finalized. The three countries’ leaders have met twice, in Sochi and Istanbul, in the framework of the Astana Syria Talks.
