Russian media highlights President Tran Dai Quang’s visit

(VOVWORLD) - Russian media on Thursday highlighted the significance and outcome of President Tran Dai Quang’s visit to the country, aimed to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations.

The TASS News Agency reported on talks between President Tran Dai Quang and President Vladimir Putin. At the talks in the Kremlin, Mr. Putin expressed his hope that President Quang’s visit will create new momentum to further develop the comprehensive strategic partnership and friendship between Vietnam and Russia.

Meanwhile, the Sputnik News Agency ran photos and articles on the meeting between the two leaders. It said that for 2 hours, the two Presidents discussed all aspects of cooperation, especially in the economy. They also talked about joint cooperative projects worth 10 billion USD.

The same day, the Kremlin issued a statement saying this was the first visit to Moscow by President Tran Dai Quang, who has an important role in Vietnam’s foreign policy and represents Vietnam to sign international agreements.
