Russian Presidential election: Putin submits re-election documents
(VOVWORLD) - Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday submitted to the Central Election Committee documents needed to officially begin his 2018 presidential campaign, Reuters reported.

The Russian presidential campaign officially began last Monday. The first round of voting will be held on March 18, 2018. 23 candidates, including Putin, have announced their intention to run for the presidential race.
