Senior security officials meet in Russia
(VOVworld) - The 7th international meeting of senior security officials took place in Russia on May 24-25.

Minister of Public Security To Lam led a Vietnamese delegation to the event. Participants from over 70 countries around the world discussed how to ensure security, peace, and stability in the world. The discussions focused on counteracting extremism and terrorism, security in the context of increased migration, and building an international information security system. Secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council Nikolai Patrushev stressed the importance of setting up a large-scale anti-terrorism front based on international law and coordinated by the United Nations.
Addressing the event, Minister of Public Security To Lam presented a report on preventing illegal immigration. He said Vietnam once struggled with illegal immigration but has handled this issue effectively and has received international recognition.He shared with the international community the causes of illegal immigration and ways to prevent it.
