Ms. Wong thanked the municipal authorities for helping Singapore become the city’s biggest investor, adding that Singapore is ready to help build smart cities in Vietnam.

Mr. Nhan said Ho Chi Minh city welcomes support from other countries, particularly Singapore, in building smart cities, education and training, and human resources. This year, Vietnam and Singapore celebrate the 45^th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.
