(VOVworld) – South Korea’s Ministry of Health reported on Thur-sday, 9 people suspected of being infected with Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) have been quarantined.

Of the 9 people, 2 have recently returned from the Middle East and the other 7 have had contact with them. 12 of 186 MERS cases are currently under hospital treatment, and138 have totally recovered.
So far, South Korea has recorded 36 deaths from MERS.
