South Korea not mulling any more THAAD deployments
(VOVWORLD) - Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha told lawmakers on Monday that South Korea is not considering any additional deployments of the US missile defense system known as THAAD.

She also reiterated that the country won't participate in US-led missile defense networks. Kang said that the THAAD battery is aimed at defending South Korea and US troops stationed here against missile threats from the North.
The US military has installed a battery that includes six missile launchers in the southeastern town of Seongju.
