State banquet given for Polish President Andrzej Duda

(VOVWORLD) - President Tran Dai Quang said he believes that the friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between Vietnam and Poland will grow to benefit their two peoples and promote peace and cooperation in the world.

Mr. Quang made the statement at a state banquet in Hanoi on Tuesday for visiting Polish President Andrzej Duda, his wife, and entourage.

President Quang reviewed the outcomes of their talks and cooperation agreements signed during President Duda’s visit.

The Polish President said he is glad to learn of Vietnam’s feelings for Poland and its people, adding that he hopes the signed agreements will create a firm foundation for collaboration between the two countries.

Polish President Duda’s wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda  visited Marie Curie School in Hanoi.

In related news, during their visit to Vietnam President Duda’s wife Agata Kornhauser Duda visited Marie Curie School and attended a ceremony to celebrate the 150th birthday of Polish scientist Marie Curie.

Ms Duda also visited the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university.
