Yesterday, one day after 250 people were killed by fighting and bombing in the worst violence since a ceasefire failed last month, Damascus was shaken by two more car bombings, and car bombing in Mudamiya near Damascus caused still more causalities and damage. Meanwhile, the government has continued raids in the Damascus region, the northern province of Aleppo, the southern city of Deir Ezzor, the town of Maaret al-Numan, and the northeast province of Idlib which the opposition occupied nearly a month ago. According to the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (SOHR), 30 died in Syria yesterday, half of them civilians. SOHR had previously estimated that on the bloody day of November 5, 250 people were killed.
