Taking care of policy families, disadvantaged people is a priority of the Party and State

(VOVWORLD) -Taking care of policy families, people in difficult circumstances, and workers is a major priority of the Party and State, said Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha during a working visit to Son La province, where he gave Tet gifts to 50 social policy families on Wednesday.

A delegation led by Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai paid a visit and presented Tet gifts to officials, soldiers and people of Con Dao district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

Mr. Hai said he hopes Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Con Dao will continue to implement the master plan for socio-economic development, focusing on developing infrastructure to attract investment and  promoting socio-economic development associated with defense and security consolidation.

The delegation presented Tet gifts to 45 policy families, workers, officials, and employees in difficult circumstances, visited martyrs’ families, and offered incense at Hang Duong and Hang Keo Cemetery.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, the Deputy Minister of National Defense, inspected and extended Tet wishes to officers, soldiers, and people in Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province.
