Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc urges Tay Ninh to become a high-quality agricultural hub

During a meeting with the provincial leaders on Tuesday, PM Phuc said that by having a strong organic farming sector, combined with intensive processing, Tay Ninh should continue expanding processing models and developing additional goods and services. He urged the province to pay attention to sustainable environmental protection, the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods through border gates, and combine socio-economic development with ensuring defence and security in the border regions.

During his visit the same day to Thanh Long farm in Chau Thanh district, the Prime Minister said the State is paying special attention to the sugarcane sector, and will strengthen the fight against smuggling and trade fraud.
