(VOVWORLD) - American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has joined Forbes Magazine’s annual billionaires list for the first time, with her net worth of 1.1 billion USD.

She is also the only musician to have earned more than 1 billion USD from her songs and performances alone, Forbes says.
Other billionaire musicians included Jay-Z and Rihanna, who amassed parts of their wealth from side hustles.
Swift became a billionaire in large part because of her record-breaking world tour, “The Eras Tour”, the first tour in history to gross more than 1 billion USD, Forbes added.
After six successful shows in Singapore in March, “The Eras Tour” will continue in Europe and America until the end of 2024, with its last stop in Canada. After completing the tour, Swift’s net worth is estimated to reach more than 2 billion USD.
The US country-turned-pop singer also earned her record-breaking 4th “Album of the Year” at this year Grammy Music Awards. She was also recognized as “Person of the Year 2023” by Time Magazine, the first for an entertainer.
