(VOVWORLD) - 300 Vietnamese students and their French friends enjoyed a joyful Lunar New Year (Tet) atmosphere and the rich flavors of Vietnam in Grenoble, France, on Saturday.

Vietnamese Ambassador to France Đinh Toàn Thắng addressed the Tet celebration organized by the Vietnamese Student Association and the local Vietnamese community: “The Year of the Dragon symbolizes strength and marks a fresh start for personal, family, and career endeavors. Grenoble is home to a large community of Vietnamese students and graduates and is a hub of scientific cooperation between Vietnam and France. This area is known as the cradle of generations of Vietnamese scientists."
