In his address, Permanent Vice President of the VJA Ho Quang Loi said that there are more than 3 million Agent Orange/dioxin victims in Vietnam. Though the war ended long ago, its serious consequences remain. Loi highlighted the Party and State’s attention and support policies and urged for further support for Agent Orange/dioxin victims: “More than ever, the community’s support is really crucial to help child victims integrate into the community. This program aims to bring them a happy Tet and is also an opportunity for the community to support them."

To mark the occasion, the Organizing Board presented 78 gifts to student victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Nam Dinh, and Ha Nam.
