Thai voters will answer two yes/no questions on the ballot. The first is whether voters accept the draft constitution. The second is whether they would approve the upper house Senate to join members of parliament's lower house in electing a prime minister. Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said the referendum will decide the future of Thailand. He said he hoped people across Thailand will vote to decide on a new constitution, paving the way for the election next year. The draft result of the referendum will be announced on Sunday, at 9 p.m local time.
