Thai Army Chief Prayuth Chan-Ocha
(VOVworld) – Thailand's junta leader, General Prayuth Chan-ocha, has rejected a rumor that last month's military coup was planned many years ago. General Prayuth Chan-ocha,made the statement after an opposition leader said the army had been discussing overthrowing the government for years.
Prayuth also criticized the opposition leaders of paralyzing the former government in a TV interview on Friday about a statement by protest leader Suthep Thaugsuban that he had discussed overthrowing the government with Gen Prayuth many times in recent years. General Prayuth said it’s untrue and that he did not involve in any process or cooperation with any party.
