(VOVworld) – Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has announced that the government stands ready to hold dialogue with the protesters in a bid to find peaceful solutions for the ongoing political crisis.

She made the remark in an interview with reporters on Wednesday before attending the no-confidence debate at the House of Representatives for the second day.

The lady premier said the government has kept the door open adding that whatever is good for the majority, the government is willing to cooperate. She urged all sides to sit down and talk, so as to put an end to the political turmoil, which she has said is hurting the country's economy.

Yingluck said despite the enforcement of the Internal Security Act (ISA) in all districts of Bangkok and its adjacent provinces, the government has adhered to peaceful methods without using violent measures against the demonstrators, who have besieged or occupied many government compounds.
