(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has underlined the importance of reviewing the theoretical and practical issues of the 30-year renewal process. At a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday, Trong stressed the need to focus on the 10 years between 2006 and 2016, measures and recommendations which would effectively contribute to national construction and defense in the new situation. Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong said: “The review work should be comprehensive, addressing major achievements and shortcomings, as well as the newly-arising and pending issues. This requires a dialectical and objective method. It’s important to look straight at the reality without shunning the truth. Objectiveness and impartiality helps in the adoption of the correct guidelines”.

A report of the meeting to reviewing the 30-year renewal process will be submitted to the Politburo and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat by the 4^th quarter of 2014.
