(VOVworld) – Thousands of people marched through Paris on Sunday to protest French President Francois Hollande’s policies.

They gathered at Bastille Square calling for a repeal of Hollande’s decisions, including the legalization of same-sex marriage, new environment taxes, France’s withdrawal from the EU, and defence of free speech. The demonstration, dubbed “Day of Anger”, was organised by right-wing groups. Hollande’s prestige is falling. 7 out of 10 people do not believe Hollande’s promises according to a poll conducted by the research firm BVA in early January.
