Three Vietnamese crew members attacked in Red Sea repatriated
(VOVWORLD) -Three Vietnamese crew members who were onboard the True Confidence cargo ship when its was attacked in the Red Sea last week, departed from Djibouti Airport for Vietnam on Wednesday, said the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt and in Djbouti.

They are expected to arrive in Hanoi on Thursday. According to the Embassy, the body of Dang Duy Kien, the unfortunate victim of the March 6 ship attack, will be brought back to home as soon as procedures are completed.
Shortly after the incident, the Embassy coordinated with the Consular Department at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ship owner representatives, relevant Vietnamese representative agencies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Djibouti to process documents so that crew members can leave for home quickly, smoothly and safely.
